{"id":1813,"date":"2015-09-26T13:55:48","date_gmt":"2015-09-26T13:55:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tapnetwork2030.org\/?p=1813"},"modified":"2016-02-04T18:46:54","modified_gmt":"2016-02-04T18:46:54","slug":"summary-of-the-comments-from-iaeg-sdg-members-and-observers-received-through-the-open-consultation-on-the-list-of-indicator-proposals-is-now-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tapnetwork2030.org\/summary-of-the-comments-from-iaeg-sdg-members-and-observers-received-through-the-open-consultation-on-the-list-of-indicator-proposals-is-now-available\/","title":{"rendered":"Summary of the comments from IAEG-SDG members and observers received through the open consultation on the List of Indicator Proposals is now available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A document containing a summary of comments received on the <a href=\"http:\/\/unstats.un.org\/sdgs\/files\/List%20of%20Indicator%20Proposals%2011-8-2015.pdf\">List of Indicator Proposals of 11 August 2015<\/a> during the two rounds of consultations with members and observers of the Inter-agency and Expert group on Sustainable Development Goal Indicators has been <a href=\"http:\/\/unstats.un.org\/sdgs\/iaeg-sdgs\/open-consultation.html\">posted online.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It presents comments according to three different categories, namely:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;Suggestions for Modifications and Replacement Indicators&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Suggestions for Additional Indicators&#8221;, and<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Additional Comments&#8221;,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>indicating the name of the country or organisation that provided each comment. It also contains two additional columns: \u2018Possible compiling entity\u2019 and \u2018Tier\u2019 which were carried over from the August 11 document based on the request by multiple countries.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that no changes have been made to the <a href=\"http:\/\/unstats.un.org\/sdgs\/files\/List%20of%20Indicator%20Proposals%2011-8-2015.pdf\">list of indicator proposals of 11 August 2015<\/a>. Therefore, the status of development of the suggested indicators (so-called tiers I, II, and III) still needs to be re-evaluated on the basis of information provided since then.<\/p>\n<p>A very large number of comments were received during the two rounds of consultations and those comments are reflected in the summary to the best possible extent.
