{"id":1299,"date":"2015-05-24T16:17:22","date_gmt":"2015-05-24T16:17:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tapnetwork2030.org\/?p=1299"},"modified":"2016-02-04T19:08:59","modified_gmt":"2016-02-04T19:08:59","slug":"deadline-31-may-2015-apply-for-special-accreditation-to-the-third-international-conference-on-financing-for-development-ffd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tapnetwork2030.org\/deadline-31-may-2015-apply-for-special-accreditation-to-the-third-international-conference-on-financing-for-development-ffd\/","title":{"rendered":"DEADLINE: 31 May 2015 &#8211; Apply for Special Accreditation to the Third International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Accreditation and registration to the Conference<\/h3>\n<p>Registration is open to all non-governmental organizations that are in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council and to all non-governmental organizations and business sector entities accredited to the Monterrey and Doha Conferences or to their follow-up processes.<\/p>\n<p>Interested non-governmental organizations and business sector entities that are not in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council or were not accredited to the Monterrey or Doha Conferences shall apply to the General Assembly for accreditation, following the accreditation procedures established during the Conferences.<\/p>\n<p>Civil Society<\/p>\n<p>Online accreditation and registration of non-governmental organizations to the Conference and its preparatory process is available through the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unngls.org\/index.php\/ffd3-conference\" target=\"_blank\">United Nations Non-Governmental Liaison Service<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Participation in Round Tables at the Conference<\/h3>\n<p>Each round table will be open to participation by up to six representatives of accredited civil society organizations, and up to six representatives of accredited business sector entities.<\/p>\n<p>Civil Society<\/p>\n<p>The selection of civil society round table speakers will be coordinated by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/csoforffd.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Addis CSO Coordination Group<\/a>. To express your interest and communicate with the Group, please join the Civil Society FfD listserv, which is an open platform that serves as an important channel of communication and coordination for civil society organizations engaged in the FfD3 process. To join the list, please visit the following listserv address, and provide your full name, job title, and organization:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/groups.google.com\/forum\/#!forum\/global-social-economy\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/groups.google.com\/forum\/#!forum\/global-social-economy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Processing of requests can take 3-5 days. If you experience difficulties in joining the listserv, please write to: Matt.Simonds@ituc-csi.org. Please do not write to this address for other matters.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that the listserv is for civil society organizations. Governmental and for-profit organizations are not eligible to join the group.<\/p>\n<h3>Participation in the CSO Global Forum and the International Business Forum<\/h3>\n<p>The CSO Global Forum will be held on 11-12 July 2015 in Addis Ababa. It is organized by the Addis CSO Coordination Group in cooperation with the Ethiopian Government. Further details will be shared on the website of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/csoforffd.wordpress.com\/\">Addis CSO Coordination Group<\/a>\u00a0or through the Civil Society FfD listserv (see above).<\/p>\n<p>The International Business Forum will be held on 14 July 2015 at the Hilton Hotel in Addis Ababa. It is organized by the Business Sector Steering Committee on Financing for Development.
